Affiliate Disclosure
ClearCasinos earns affiliate commissions from some of the online casinos we review. This disclosure explains how that works, why it does not compromise our rankings, and the rules we hold ourselves to.

What We Disclose
When you click a link on a ClearCasinos review page and sign up with an operator, we may receive a commission — at no additional cost to you. Affiliate commissions are paid by the casino out of their marketing budget. They do not change the price, bonus, withdrawal speed, or experience you receive.
This disclosure is required by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, UK Advertising Standards Authority (CAP Code), and equivalent advertising standards across the markets we cover. We believe disclosure builds trust, not undermines it.
Commissions Do Not Influence Rankings
Our scoring methodology is public. Every casino is evaluated across 40+ criteria grouped into six weighted dimensions: Games & Providers, Trust & Licensing, Payments & Withdrawals, Bonuses & Fairness, Customer Support, and Mobile Experience. Commission rate is not one of those criteria.
A casino paying us a higher revenue share sits in the same position as one paying less — or nothing at all — if the data scores them equally. Several of the operators we rate below 6/10 pay us commissions. We have not adjusted their scores upward to protect the commercial relationship.
The test we hold ourselves to: would the ranking look different if every operator paid the same commission — or no commission at all? If the answer is no, the ranking is honest. If the answer is yes, the ranking is for sale. We publish our rules so you can hold us to the first answer.
Sponsored Placements Are Clearly Labeled
Some casinos pay for sponsored or featured placements on ClearCasinos. When they do, those placements are visually and structurally separated from editorial rankings and clearly labeled “Featured” or “Sponsored.”
Sponsored placements never influence ranking scores. A casino paying for a sponsored slot receives the same objective score it would have received otherwise. The sponsored slot buys visibility, not ranking.
What We Will Not Do
- No ranking movement for money. We will never accept lump-sum payments to move an operator up our editorial rankings, regardless of the amount offered.
- No hidden sponsorship. Every sponsored or featured placement is labeled. We do not disguise commercial content as editorial.
- No suppressing negatives. We do not remove negative reviews or soften criticism because a commercial partner complained.
- No fake reviewers. Every review is attributed to a named contributor or the ClearCasinos Editorial Team. We do not fabricate bylines or invent testing experiences.
The Full Rules We Commit To
This disclosure covers the commercial model. The complete list of editorial rules we hold ourselves to is published on a separate page and includes methodology versioning, correction policy, and conflict-of-interest handling.
